treasury list: feels like easter is drawing near.

notably noted was featured on another treasury list this week! i get so excited -- it's completely flattering to think that of all the items available on etsy, someone would choose something designed by little ol' me. i am so grateful to my followers and clients.

the item terry from moonlight55 selected is one of my favorite note cards. they were originally designed to match the nursery of a sweet little girl named eloise -- the patterns created closely mimicked her crib bedding, while the yellow polka dots and white font mimicked a framed "e" wall hanging -- but i think they're fun for girls of all ages.

ahoy it's a boy!

remember when i said i'm loving all things nautical? well that's still true. =)

i'm working with one of my dear friends on a nautical baby shower for one of her friends who will be a first time mommy in april.

andrea wanted something classic, but playful and not overly whimsical. i absolutely love what we've come up with.

we still have lots to do -- table signs . "ahoy it's a boy!" pennant banner . nautical theme table banner . food tents . thank you cards for baby boy harrison . and straw flags.

i wanted to wait to share the entire package, but i just couldn't wait. i hope you've enjoyed the sneak peek! i'll post more images as the other pieces come together.

stonewood coffee & tea co.

this afternoon i find myself sitting in stonewood coffee and tea co. in broken arrow. michael buble's voice is echoing enchantingly in the background, and i'm in heaven. what is it about working from a coffee shop that makes work that much more enjoyable? even the worst of tasks (like reconciling business acounts) suddenly becomes pleasant ... well, not completely horrible anyway {since i don't know that reconciling accounts could ever be pleasant}.

i ran into an old college friend not long after i arrived at the coffee shop. sharing with her more about notably noted and the custom invitations and stationery i create for tulsa, broken arrow, and places across the u.s. got me so excited and reminded me just how much i love what i do.

if i could spend every afternoon just like this, i think i would {minus the unpleasant business of reconciling my accounts, of course}. soaking in the atmostphere. visiting and catching up with old friends. creating new designs. i'm. in. heaven. or my paper-loving version of it anyway. =)

i'm excited to run into old friends tonight {on purpose} as my fiance and i have a dinner date set up with one of my nearest and dearestfriends from college, dylan allen and his wife, lexi. dylan and i sang together for many years, but the past year or so life has caught up with us and caused us to lose touch a bit. sadness. so tonight, we'll hit up mcnellie's in downtown tulsa with our significant others and enjoy everyone's company.

this is definitely my kind of day.

{le sigh}. i need to get back to number crunching, but before i go, i'll share the latest creation from this past week. a lovely custom notepad for a soon-to-be new mommy!

so precious, right? this stationery was designed for a first-time mommy who will soon find that her sweet little baby kaili will begin dictating the "to-do's" of her day. swoon! one of my clients approached me with the idea, and i couldn't love it more.

you can order your kaili-print note pad personalized with your own kiddo's name or we can custom-design a print indidualized just for them.

enjoy this sunny afternoon. mr. buble and i have some numbers to take care of. wish me luck!

there's a new sheriff in town.

i am so excited to share this fabulous baby shower with you. megan tree is one of my favorite bloggers, and let me tell you, she is one blessed mama. her sisters and friends recently through a baby shower for her and baby eli. it was one of the cutest showers, and i've been dying to share it with you.

put your walkin' boots on and check this out ...

one of my favorite ideas was the foods -- cravings megan has been having throughout her pregnancy! cute, right? some of those cravings included ranch dressing, candy, popcorn, and hawaiian punch. love, love, love this idea.

the printables were from love bugs design. aren't they so cute? the personalized paper touches are one of my favorite pieces of an event {surprise. surprise.}, and janell did a fantastic job creating these finishing touch.
that precious, and oh-so-yummy cake was from merritt's bakery. look at those details! i can't help but get roped in. {he-he}.
megan and luke were having a difficult time coming up with a middle name for baby eli. the hostesses let guests throw their name{s} in the hat for their favorite name. there was also a fun carousel of megan's weekly pictures charting little eli's growth.

the hostesses thought of everything -- they even had eli's first framed picture. many of the decorations were from hobby lobby {because who doesn't love hob-lob}, including the fun fabric and ranch-themed decor throughout the shower.

what a blessed, blessed family! thanks for sharing your shower with us, megan!

a baby shower for amy & mackenzie.

my dear friend {and photographer} jenny collier hosted a baby shower for her long-time friend amy. i love attending any soiree jenny throws. she always has the best ideas for events and does so much of the work herself. while i wasn't at amy's shower, i wanted to show off jenny's creativity {and beautiful photography}.

all images copywright jenny collier photography. please contact jenny for permission to use any photos.

the invitation jenny used had a clothesline of baby clothes strung across it, so she incorporated the idea into the shower as well. the items on the line also doubled as gifts for amy's little girl mackenzie.
jen used amy butler paper for the shower decor. the coffee cups at the drink station were wrapped in the same paper to match.

seana hon designed the gorgeous cake. i've since had one of seana's cakes and would second jenny's recommendation of her services. the cakes are delicious and the price is always very reasonable.

i love that no detail misses jenny's eye. the past few years banners have been very popular at parties and jenny loves using them at her events. i love that this particular banner uses tiny clothespins to coordinate with the theme as well.

the favor's were joy's hope mason jar cupcakes that jenny made. the favor tags were made of the same amy butler paper that you've seen scattered throughout the shower.

if anyone knows how to throw a party and make a girl feel special, it's ms. jen. amy and mackenzie are lucky, lucky gals to have such a good friend willing to throw them such a spectacular shower. to see more pictures from the event, visit jenny's page

to see what we could c.

i recently did a post on this particular baby shower package. a friend of jessica's contacted me interested in the design, but she wanted to pull in a classic font. i enjoy that a change as simple as a font choice can completely recreate a design. i sometimes spend more time than i care to admit looking at individual fonts and the effects they have on my designs.

i was thrilled with the outcome of this note card! thank you girls for keeping life interesting for me! congratulations to mrs. c & her upcoming arrival!

banana blueberry baby shower.

i think polka dots are so fun. i don't often choose them for myself, usually opting for a damask or toile print. i should choose them for myself more often, though, because they're so playful. i like this color combination.

while blue is often associated with boys, i think this invitation could work well for a little girl, too, in these very same colors, in pinks, whites ... the possibilities are endless.

Bear-y Lucky Baby.

My friend Julie recently had her first baby – a little baby boy. Her shower was held by a few of our high school friends a couple of weeks before the baby was born. The shower was done up in the colors of Julie's nursery. So cute!

We haven't done a bear-themed shower invitation yet ... but I'm feeling inspired. I'll let you know what we come up with. =)
