this couples shower invitation was created for a 1950's backyard garden party {think the wonder years backyard bash, not ladies bridge at the country club}. i've done a similar color combination for bridal showers before, but i was so pleased with how this particular invitation turned out.
this invitation was a lot of fun, too, because of the poem we created. the bride and groom were not planning to register for lawn tools, but this shower was all about working in the yard. they created a list of items they would like instead of an actual registry. we then had to find a way to work that list into the invitation, without looking too cluttered. every item they listed was incorporated into the poem; i couldn't believe it!
